All steam is not equal!Laboratory research has shown: ideal steam for textile care is like fine mist, escapes from the soleplate with approx. 3 to 4.5 bar of pressure and transports approx. 70 g of water per minute.Pressure and water quantity alone cannot form a standard for the performance of a pressurized steam ironing system. The important fact is the precise compatibility of all components of a pressurized steam ironing system. Very high steam pressure in the boiler might be a very nice advertisement claim, but steam is perfected in the soleplate only in professional systems – for example in pressurized steam systems where the steam is forced through an elaborate system of heated channels inside the soleplate and is then routed to the nozzles in a very fine spray. Many manufacturers use common household irons for their steam stations but the steam generated by these irons holds too much moisture, which causes the laundry item to become too wet and takes effort to dry it again.Another significant component is the ironing board, which can facilitate ironing considerably if it is equipped with an efficient air intake, steam extraction function, or air glide function and furthermore reduces the risk of corrosion. All systems are characterized by the perfect harmonization of:
