Leifheit is expanding its product portfolio with a complete range of cloths, sponges and gloves. The brand is aiming to extend its cleaning competence to new areas. Leifheit thus offers the entire world of cleaning from a single source to businesses and consumers. At the Ambiente tradeshow, the Nassau company will be presenting a multitude of other new products, including an environmentally-friendly range of products called EcoPerfect and clever solutions for outdoor cleaning.

Cloths, sponges, gloves…

With a total of more than 30 products for kitchen, bathroom, living areas, and floor and window cleaning, the new range of cloths, sponges and gloves offers intelligent solutions for all areas of housekeeping. The household aids distinguish themselves not only thanks to their ability to pick up and remove dirt, they were also specially developed for the cleaning and care of the widest range of surfaces. With all of the products, the selection of materials is optimally targeted to their particular purpose. For instance, the new Duo window cloth with two functions is twice as effective: The white microfiber side allows for damp window cleaning, whereas the yellow side of the cloth ensures streak-free drying. Especially practical: The dust glove which, thanks to the double thumb, can be worn either on the left or right hand and can therefore be used on both sides. That way, it allows for easy dusting in next to no time. Sponges with various degrees of hardness remove stubborn dirt and create a bright shine in the kitchen. A range of gloves with innovative features for all areas of housekeeping complements the new product range, such as the latex-free glove for people allergic to latex. By extending its competence to cloths, sponges and gloves, Leifheit, one of the leading producers of cleaning products, has taken an obvious step: After all, these products are used every day in homes.

Coming to grips with dust…

With the Click System, Leifheit also offers solutions for the widest range of household requirements. The principle: Various attachments for windows and floors can be connected to and easily changed on the universal telescopic handle. The new Duster XXL attachment is particularly good when it comes to removing dust from any surface. It is 35 cm long. Its close and hyperstatic fibres work like a magnet: It picks up dust and holds on to it. The new Dusty broom has a particularly clever design. Thanks to its practical triangular shape and the lockable hinge, this household aid reaches into every corner and adjusts to every angle. Its ergonomic shape even allows for easy cleaning behind the curtain rod. The Click System proves helpful here as well. With its extendible telescopic handle, high spots can be reached or the Dusty can be used as a hand-held unit.

Sparkling terraces and balconies: New products for outdoor cleaning

Just in time for spring, Leifheit is presenting innovative products for the outdoors as well. A new extendible wash broom brings windows and conservatories to a bright shine. The multifunctional cleaning device goes easy on delicate surfaces thanks to its soft, scratchproof bristles. Its brush can be connected to any standard water supply and therefore allows for ideal cleaning with water from the garden hose. To reach higher areas without any problems, the water broom’s reach can also be extended with the telescopic handle. The integrated cleaning agent dispenser is especially practical because it allows for an effective dosage. A fine squeegee then ensures streak-free cleaning, even on slick surfaces. The wash broom is also ideally suited for cleaning garden furniture and cars.

To clean large surfaces such as balconies, terraces or garages, the 3in1 Multimop sponge mop offers three different applications: The rough brush removes stubborn dirt. The soft sponge is ideal for damp cleaning. The flexible squeegee can then be used to completely remove the water. A cleaning scraper also scrapes away the absorbed dirt from the sponge. As a result, hands do not come into contact with the dirt when cleaning.

Environmental protection begins at home: Eco product range for cleaning

Also new in the Leifheit range of products: EcoPerfect products. Leifheit is presenting cleaning devices that are made of environmentally-friendly and natural materials that are biodegradable. Moreover, a special degree of environmental sustainability is achieved thanks to the reduced use of cleaning agents. A new product in the assortment is the Profi EcoPerfect floor mop, for instance. The handle is made of 90% bamboo. The covering is cotton-rich and therefore can absorb large amounts of water and dirt. The pail that holds 20 litres and is made of recycled materials is a perfect complement for the floor mop. In times of climate change and resources that are more and more scarce, Leifheit is facing its responsibility with the EcoPerfect products, giving customers the option of choosing environmentally-friendly products.

Professional Cleaning Systems

With the new Professional Cleaning Systems, Leifheit is offering small businesses, such as restaurants, doctors surgeries and shops, high-quality devices that make the daily cleaning of heavily soiled surfaces that much easier. The range includes products for floor and window cleaning. The new “hands away from dirty water” function has also been introduced for the professional flat mop system. Another innovation is the Top-Lock System for the window cleaning systems. All devices can be attached to two handles that vary in length, which saves time, space and money. Whether it’s the professional cleaning trolley, floor and window cleaning systems or the dustpan set: All products are developed, tested and produced in Germany.
